Hello!
I am Telma and I help individuals at all stages of their professional development to launch, grow, or transition their career. Exploration and self-reflection lead to clarity and with that comes focus to devise a strategic job search plan.
My approach is client-focused. Some individuals need more support with writing their resumes, others need interview practice to be able to articulate their value, yet others might need resources to validate their research regarding career opportunities, target companies, or salaries.
During my experience working as a career coach, I have developed a personal approach practice to make clients feel seen in a challenging time. People wish that there was an easy way to find a job, to change careers, to enter or re-enter the workforce. I understand that career exploration and the job search can be overwhelming and can evoke many emotions such as anxiety, fear and disappointment.
I am committed to my clients, helping them build the marketing materials they need to promote their value to organizations. Additionally, I empower them with the confidence to present themselves, turning those negative feelings into hope, courage, motivation, focus, and confidence.
I have supported individuals from a variety of industries and at different points of their career. I work to assist my clients in developing their resume, LinkedIn, and accomplishment stories that best highlight their values, skills, experiences, and successes to a particular employer.
I have worked with individuals who were re-entering the workforce after a sabbatical as care takers, with college graduates figuring out their first/second “professional” job, with mid/senior career professionals looking for advancement or changing industries, and with those finding their Third Act.
As a skilled and empathetic career coach, I focus my attention in providing an organized, accountable and supportive coaching that help people move forward toward their career goals. My clients often state that I guide them with passion, honesty, creativity, kindness, and inspiration.
I am a career coach certified by the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and a member of the Career Counselors’ Consortium (CCC) Northeast, with work experience in international business, diagnostics systems customer care, education, and agriculture.
I have 10 years of international/ex-pat experience. I am bilingual in English/Spanish, speak fluent Italian, and can converse in French and basic Romanian.
I enjoy the outdoors, love reading and writing short fiction, and practice and teach Yoga.
