Career Checkup

are you healthy?

No matter your age or stage of life, an annual physical is beneficial to your ongoing wellness. These visits can help with your regular preventive care and track your progress toward your health goals.

Just like you go for your annual physical, you should schedule your own career checkup.

Everyone has a career that is alive. Our careers are in a constant state of change, take a pause to reassess, the feedback can lead you to better outcomes.

Here are some questions that can assist you in your checkup:

·  What are your strengths? Are you using them fully?

·  Do you feel energized? What kind of changes should you be making?

·  What motivates you? Are these motivators present in your current job?

·  How happy are you with your work environment?

·  What kind of tasks do you look for? Which ones do you avoid?

·  Are there new fields of work that you would like to explore?

·  Are there weaknesses that are preventing you from advancing the way you would like to? What can you do?

·  Could you benefit from learning how to communicate with your boss?

·  What kind of feedback have you received? (performance review, colleagues, vendors, clients)

·  What are your career goals for this year? What is your plan for action?

·  Are you having trouble starting a new job search?

·  Do you need assistance preparing for an interview?

·  Are you growing and expanding your professional network? How about professional organizations?

If you need help answering any of these questions, I can assist you. Working together, you can discover what you need to do in order to keep your career healthy and thriving.
