Four tips Job Search Engagement

Gather more energy

Four practical tips to stay engaged and motivated in your job search:

  1. Keep your moral up, write down your affirmations. Put them on a wall where you can see them daily and read them out loud:

    • “I am capable”

    • “I am resilient”

    • “I am a learner”

    • “I am a helper”

  2. Create a schedule and routine to follow, especially if you are not working and have lots of free time:

    • Days for networking

    • Days for updating your resume and LinkedIn

    • Days for interview practice

    • Your practice is your purpose to move forward

  3. Set goals and deadlines;

    • State your goal “In 5 months I want to land a job working with adults learning technology”

      • What do you have to do to get there?

      • Break it down: conduct some research, start with getting clear, update your marketing materials, prepare to interview

  4. Track your progress and celebrate your success:

    • You want to stay motivated, be excited, and reach new goals
